Privacy policy.
Last updated: 22/9/2026
The Elinor Collective (ABN [15 158 375 709]), is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit this website or engage its services. This policy explains what personal information is collected, the purposes for which it is used, how it is stored and protected, and the rights available to you in relation to that information.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal information collected through this website, the Pre-Screen intake process, Clarity Sessions, and any subsequent stage of engagement with the Elinor Collective. It should be read alongside the Terms of Service.
2. What personal information is collected
The following categories of personal information may be collected:
Identity and contact information: full name, date of birth, email address, billing address, gender and phone number.
Information provided during a Pre-Screen submission or Clarity Session, including the nature of the decision or issue presented, prior steps taken, and responses to the Safety & Fit Screen.
Payment information, processed directly by our third-party payment provider. Card and account details are not collected or stored by the Elinor Collective directly.
Technical and usage information collected automatically through this website, such as pages visited, where analytics tools are enabled.
3. Sensitive information
Responses provided as part of the Safety & Fit Screen may disclose information about your mental health or psychological wellbeing. Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, this constitutes "sensitive information" and is subject to a higher standard of consent and protection than general personal information. This information is collected only to assess the appropriateness of the service for your circumstances, and is not used for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
Note: many small businesses in Australia are exempt from the Privacy Act below a $3 million annual turnover threshold. That exemption does not extend to entities that collect health information, which this practice does. Accordingly, this policy has been prepared on the basis that the Australian Privacy Principles apply in full.
4. Purposes of collection and use
Personal information is collected and used to:
Assess suitability for a Pre-Screen or Clarity Session, including identification of any safety or referral concerns;
Deliver the service booked, including any Verdict + Plan or Accountability Package arrangement;
Process payment for services rendered;
Communicate with you regarding a current or prospective booking.
5. Disclosure of personal information
Personal information may be disclosed to the following categories of recipients:
Third-party service providers engaged to operate this business, including booking, scheduling, and payment platforms, to the extent reasonably necessary for their function;
A referral provider (for example, a general practitioner or registered therapist), disclosed only with your explicit, informed consent at the time a referral is made;
Emergency services, where information disclosed during a session or Pre-Screen indicates a risk of harm to you or another person.
Personal information is not sold, and is not disclosed to any third party for direct marketing or unrelated commercial purposes.
6. Overseas disclosure
Certain third-party service providers used in the operation of this business may store or process personal information on servers located outside Australia. Reasonable steps are taken to engage providers that maintain appropriate data security and privacy standards. By engaging this service, you acknowledge that some personal information may be handled outside Australian jurisdiction, and that the protections of Australian privacy law may not apply in the same manner to that overseas handling.
7. Data security
Personal information is stored using reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including restricted access and secure storage through reputable third-party platforms. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed as completely secure, and this policy does not warrant absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by this business.
8. Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, satisfy legal and professional record-keeping obligations, and support any insurance or regulatory requirement, currently set at seven years from the date of last contact. Information no longer required for these purposes is securely deleted or de-identified.
9. Access and correction
You may request access to the personal information held about you, and request correction of any information that is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete. Requests should be directed to decide@elinorcollective.com and will be responded to within a reasonable timeframe.
10. Complaints
Any concern regarding the handling of personal information under this policy should first be raised directly with decide@elinorcollective.com. If a concern is not resolved you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
11. Cookies and website analytics
This website is hosted on Squarespace and uses cookies and similar technologies as part of that platform's standard operation.
Necessary cookies are used to allow the site to function correctly and securely, including basic navigation and security protections. These operate regardless of visitor preference and are essential to the site working as intended.

Where a cookie consent banner is displayed on this site, analytics and performance cookies will only be used once you have accepted it. You may decline these cookies; doing so will not affect your ability to use the core functions of this website, including making a booking.
This website does not currently use third-party advertising or tracking tools such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel beyond what Squarespace provides by default.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be amended from time to time to reflect changes in practice or legal obligation. The version published on this website at any given time is the version in effect.
